His story
Changed by the power of the Gospel.
John Thomas McCallie hails from Monroe County, Tennessee, where he has lived most of his life.
In January of 2022, John Thomas made the greatest decision of his life. That was to accept Jesus Christ into his heart. Ever since then John’s life has been changed by the power of the Gospel. That day began his spiritual foundation serving the Lord.
Within just a few short months later, John knew that there was a call upon his life. After a few more months of seeking the face of God, God had made it clear to John Thomas that he was to preach the glorious Gospel of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
In December of 2023, John Thomas announced to his home church that God had called him to preach the Gospel. Ever since that day, God has blessed John more than he could have imagined. By the goodness of the Lord, John has seen numerous souls come to Christ under the preaching of the word of God.
Now, John is attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. John preaches every opportunity that arises, along with his studies at NOBTS.
His heart’s desire is to demonstrate Jesus’ love to everyone he meets and help lead them closer to Christ, and if they had never been born again, that he could have the honour of leading them to Christ.
